Educators have found Learning Blade and Career Blade to be useful in providing a robust experience for students in Career Prep A and B. Those attending this session will see the alignment of these resources to the standards of these classes and will receive an easy-to-follow guide of suggested week-by-week lesson plans to make teaching Career Prep A and B easy. These two FREE statewide resources are easy to implement and help students in making informed decisions about their future by introducing them to the growing STEM, Computer Science and CTE careers. Learning Blade’s online platform provides interactive career exploration and skill-building activities for students with over 400 online student lessons and 100+ hours of teacher lesson plans for project-based learning and it is easy to monitor student progress. Career Blade provides additional downloadable lesson plans connecting educators to businesses who hire these careers.. Participants will leave this session with additional tools to help their students engage in Career Preparedness.
