Question Generation to Support Comprehension - KTL

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, check-in, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Teaching students to generate questions is a highly effective instructional practice for improving comprehension. Good readers automatically engage in critical thinking by asking themselves questions to make sense of what has been read. In this practical workshop, participants will learn how to increase the opportunities students have to independently generate their own questions based on anything that has been read, said, or done using Bloom's taxonomy as a continuum.
