How can we have students write more in content classrooms? Part of the solution is using quick writes on a regular basis. Quick writes are short, informal writing tasks which help the writer remember, organize, and manage information. In this session, participants will learn about how to embed more opportunities for quick writes into content area classes, as well as how to scaffold quick writes to support a variety of learners.
